Dear Santa... Define "Good"...

Dear Santa... Define "Good"...

Dear Santa,

Define "good"...  I think I was really good this year, although I know there’s probably a few around me that would dispute that. Okay yes, I ate all of the M&Ms out of the trail mix. The boyfriend said that sort of thing should be illegal - but it’s not.. So I’m good right?

Santa, could you blame me for drowning my sister’s Furby? I think we can all agree that it was for the common good - that yolk was terrifying, even for me Santa! Please don’t let the elves make anything like that again! I don’t want to tell you how to do your job Santa but please - think of the parents!

I told my baby cousin that the ice cream truck plays music when there’s no more ice cream left. He always looks disappointed when he hears the sound. But really Santa, sugar is supposed to be bad for kids right? I did the right thing, wouldn’t you say?

And lastly, I know this one might mark me for the naughty list but I couldn’t resist… I cancelled the last recording of Game of Thrones that himself wanted to see and I blamed it on the cat. The cat shouldn’t have “stood on the remote” and E! was covering the red carpet for…. something.. I can’t really remember now but you know how I feel about my style Santa - I promise it was important.

If you can forgive me for all of this Santa, I would be very grateful. I’ll also attach my Christmas list. Greedy of me, perhaps but it’s Christmas right?

1. I’d love a Lambswool Scarf. It’s getting a little chilly out there. I’d love to be able to wrap up warm in one of those lovely Irish scarves (plus as you know, I have a taste for the finer things in life and those scarves are so luxuriously soft!) Any colour will do .. I know there's a lot to choose from!

2. Have you seen the ‘12 Days of Irish Christmas’ tree ornaments? They’re so cute and they remind me of home! I’d love to put them on my tree Santa - a bit of Irish charm, you know what I mean?

3. Oh, and maybe an Official Guinness Gift box! They’re made in Dublin and are stuffed with all kinds of Guinness products - there’s even some for the perfect Guinness pour and I need it… for science!

4. I think the thing I miss most from home is the smell of a good turf fire. I would love some Turf Incense to burn on Christmas day, so I can feel at home! They’re made in Ireland and even come with a cute little ceramic pub or cottage -so cute!

5. And finally Santa, if you’re feeling particularly generous - I’d love a Claddagh ring. It would be the kind of special present I’d wear for all eternity. I know there’s a lot to choose from Santa: silver, gold, with gems or crystals. But I know you’ll choose the right one for me!

Thank you for understanding Santa! You always understand me. Now, where did he hide the trail mix…..

Happy Holidays,
