I am totally satisfied with the cap. The inner band that is contact with your scalp is slightly ribbed, which makes me think that it is designed to add a little grip to the hat, but without adding any discomfort. Nice.

I've been wearing this hat for a couple weeks now and it is great. It was a little chilly yesterday and while walking had to take it off as it was to warm for me. Looks good, too! Just need to find a nice over coat now to go with it.

The hat feels really nice (hats I should say... I have one of each color) and they're perfect for CA. They're a light weight wool but still look like a traditional heavy wool cap. The fit is a tiny bit snug but my size is right on the edge so I've had this problem before... so I'll say 'true to size' I had to return several hats when I somehow ordered the wrong size and the return service was excellent... no questions asked.
