Shillelagh Walking Stick with Box, Handcrafted in Ireland Blackthorn Wood Cane, Black Lacquered Finish

Beautifully crafted from a natural Blackthorn branch. Seems plenty sturdy to help on walks where my balance is not as centered as it once was. They have carefully removed the thorns so it is not dangerous to hold.

This was pretty expensive for what I received. I used to have an authentic sheleighly that my father brought back from Ireland but it was stolen. I was hoping this would be a replacement but it just feels like a cheap imitation. It lacks the weight and heft of the shillelagh I held growing up. It almost feels hollow. Just disappointing for how expensive it was.

Sturdy, natural with a nice grip. I had to buy a rubber tip for the bottom but it is a great purchase

I love my Walking stick. I have wanted to get one for awhile. I will cherish it. I may take it with me on my next trip to Ireland!

I love it! It’s just what I expected. The length is perfect. Not real impressed with the copper ring around the bottom, will probably replace that with a rubber tip or something else. Think the copper kind of looks cheap. Historically speaking, what would the tip have originally been?

This cane is of very high quality. It is exactly as I expected it would be. It came packaged very securely via the USPS and arrived here unscathed despite the outer box being a bit ragged looking. I am not happy to need a walking stick, but proud to use one such as this that reflects my Irish heritage. I highly recommend this item.

This is my third one and I can’t say enough about them. I was going through security at our courthouse to pay my traffic ticket. The guard was an Irishman he asked to look at my Walkingstick and immediately said Blackthorn. He was very impressed. I told him it came from Biddy Murphy in Michigan, but was of course made in Ireland.

Excellent quality! Comfortable to use, I would highly recommend it!
