This is my fifth cap from Biddy Murphy. All of them have been great.

the size guide works well. The website advises if you are between sizes choose the smaller size. This is good advice especially for this cap. You don't want it to be floppy. I liked the linen as it is a solid color. I'm on the west coast of the US, so i can get by with the linen year-round if it is not raining.

Fits well, and is so comfortable to wear even in hot weather. Love this Biddy Murphy Irish Cap!

It is February, and cold, but by May, perhaps even April, this cap will be daily wear for me. I have tried it for size, and it is properly labeled. The fabric is flawless. I am sure that when nicer weather returns to the desert, I will have even more reason to appreciate this cap while cranking some leisure miles in a Triumph.

I was very happy with my purchase. It was just what I was looking for, arrived expeditiously, and fit perfectly.

Material and color were exactly what I wanted. However, the fit is not what it should be. I have two other caps the same size that fit much more snugly. This cap would blow off in a moderate wind. Wore it on vacation anyway. Had it fit to my liking it would have been 5 Stars.

Love the fact that I had to exchange for a different size and there was no problem.

My husband lost a cherished flat cap that we bought in England more than 30 years ago. I bought him. Linen Flat Cap from Biddy Murphy and he loves it. The quality and fit are perfect.

The hat runs big. It says it's 60 cm but it's actually 61 and a half. I measured with a taylor's tape. I get The wedding hotwater twice and Ride in order to reduce the rim size. Now it is slightly deformed. So not too happy with it, but oh well.
Also the inside of the rim finishes are not very well terminated. Rough cuts can be seen all around if you lift the rim.

I usually take a medium size at 7 1/8 but this size medium was way too big. I sent it back for a small and it fits just right. Looks good on me too

I initially ordered a Med for my brother but it was too big so I gave it to another brother. I then ordered a Small for my 1st brother n it fit beautifully. Both brothers are very pleased with their linen caps!

It's a great cap. I look forward to warmer weather so that I can be the dapper old man walking around the block. It's a bit too big, but I may have accidentally measure my head including the hearing aids.No problem that can't be fixed with a bit of tissue paper.

I ordered a light gray, large size linen flat cap in March 2020 from Amazon and instantly became the favorite in my collection. I has a beautiful, elegant pattern, feels soft and fits well.
Later in 2020 I decided to order all other 3 colors directly from this site, but only the light blue was in inventory.
I have been visiting this site every month (sometimes more frequently) for the past year, looking to buy the other remaining colors if they become in stock, but they never became a available.
It is very sad, because I live in the Caribbean and wearing a wool cap is not an option.

Perfect! Linen lid for the warm weather. Took it on our cross country drive and it adds a great look when cruising around the towns we visited. Very comfortable

After opening and removing the tags from both caps one was a XL and the other a L. Large was ordered for both

This was a disappointing purchase because the quality did not live up to the other two caps that I had purchased previously. This Irish linen fitted flat cap’s workmanship and quality are not - in my opinion - up to standard compared to the other caps that I own from Biddy Murphy. The brim is flimsy and like a thin cardboard, and the fit sits oddly on my head as if the measurements are off. Anyway, I’m not ready to give up on Biddy Murphy just yet.

Fits perfectly. Nice and light for summer. Came wrinkled in an envelope so I have to iron it. Could have better packaging for the high price.

I liked the quality of the cap and it arrived promptly. There are a lot of wool caps in this style but hard to find linen ones. I will order from them again in the future.
