Small and efficient cottage turf burner

I bought the sack of turf last fall and enjoyed it enough to consider purchasing more as well as the cottage burner. Just tried it out this evening while waiting for rain and am very pleased. My wife loves the cottage and we look forward to using it next winter for “atmosphere” during the (we hope) rainy season here in California. The slate was taped in place and the cottage arrived intact with the two extra sacks of turf I bought. The box had lots of padding.

I purchased this as a gift so I cannot report how well it “ works” or how much aroma the peat gives off. Sadly the packaging was damaged in transit, giving it a very cheap look. I will have to re-box it for gifting.

Smells like peat!

A darling piece that works as described. The smell of burning peat, not too strong but apparent enough to enjoy, went through my entire home. It was such a treat! Great product and will be gifting another cottage.

This is adorable! I admit I did not grow up in Ireland, do the smell of pest burning didn't bring up lots of memories. But it's lovely none the less. I must commend Biddy Murphy for their commitment to customers. I had problems with a couple of deliveries. Biddy Murphy made it right. I will definitely order from them and recommend them to friends

Very cute ceramic house where the incense burnes. The peat pellets are very light, and easy to ignite with a very soft smell (not very strong) earthy, clean smelling. I got my kit, and extra peat through Amazon, before I knew this was a real store! I love it will ordering some more products.
