This is a reproduction of a traditional Irish shillelagh fighting stick.  It has inscribed on the arm "Irish Shillelagh" and is made in Ireland.

The lighter area of the back of the stick in the third picture - is an unpainted area with the words "Irish Shillelagh" written in cursive. There is a hole drilled in the one end - and had a green string (tied in a loop) attached through it. The Shillelagh Stick is painted black with a gloss finish.

It is quite a conversation piece and everyone wants to try it.  Looks great hanging on a wall or sitting on a shelf in a bar area or entry way.
